I provide professional learning that helps educators understand and apply the body of research known as the Science of Reading. My work supports the implementation of structured literacy, an explicit, systematic approach that emphasizes the development of foundational reading skills and language comprehension. - Systematic phonics instruction
- Decoding and encoding (spelling) strategies
- Fluency development
- Vocabulary acquisition
- Reading comprehension and language structures
Through workshops, modeling, and coaching, I help educators connect theory to practice in ways that are developmentally appropriate and aligned with the needs of their students.

- Align instruction, intervention, and assessment to structured literacy principles
- Develop and implement districtwide literacy action plans
- Provide leadership coaching
